Overview
The Admin Dashboard is the first page you see after logging in. It provides a quick overview of your website’s activity and performance.
Dashboard Components
Analytics Chart
The dashboard displays a visitor analytics chart showing the last 7 days of website traffic. This chart is powered by Matomo analytics and shows:
- Daily visitor counts — How many unique visitors your site received each day
- Trend visualization — A line or bar chart showing traffic trends over the past week
Statistics Cards
Below the chart, you’ll see key statistics including:
- Total visits — Cumulative visitor count for the period
- Page views — Total number of pages viewed
- Bounce rate — Percentage of visitors who left after viewing only one page
- Average visit duration — How long visitors typically stay on your site
Quick Access
From the dashboard, you can quickly navigate to:
- Recently edited content
- Content that may need attention
- Key admin sections via the sidebar
Understanding Your Analytics
What the Numbers Mean
- High bounce rate (above 60%) may indicate visitors aren’t finding what they need on landing pages
- Low visit duration (under 1 minute) may suggest content isn’t engaging enough
- Traffic spikes often correlate with news posts, events, or alerts you’ve published
Analytics Integration
The platform supports two analytics systems:
- Matomo (built-in) — First-party analytics displayed on the dashboard
- Google Analytics (optional) — Can be configured via the Scripts & Tags settings if your organization uses it
Note: Analytics data may take up to 24 hours to fully process. Recent activity may not be reflected immediately.
